The Harcourt Brain Center Difference
Harcourt Brain Center in York, Pennsylvania is a next-step neurorehabilitation center for people whose migraine, dizziness or post-concussion symptoms haven’t fully improved with standard care, including people who are sensitive to medication. We work alongside your neurologist, ENT, headache specialist or primary care doctor, after appropriate medical evaluation. Every plan is built around your exam findings, symptom pattern, tolerance and goals, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Your treatment plan is customized to your findings, symptom pattern, tolerance, and goals. Depending on your needs, care may include functional neurological rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, eye-movement and gaze-stability exercises, neuromuscular therapy, nutritional support, manual therapies, peripheral nerve stimulation, and low-level laser therapy.
These treatments have been created, modified, and continually improved by Dr. Harcourt for over a decade. We continue to incorporate new technology into the practice based on the latest research and breakthroughs in technology. Dr. Harcourt is currently involved in research with doctors all over the US and Canada to help understand some of the most difficult neurological conditions to treat, such as migraine, post-concussion syndrome, dizziness, dysautonomia, and POTS, among others.
Our Unique Approach
Many of our patients have already seen excellent doctors and still have symptoms. Our role is to add what’s often missing: a detailed look at how your brain, inner ear, eyes and neck are working, and a rehabilitation plan that targets what we find. With your permission, we share our findings with your doctors, and we’re open about which parts of our care have the strongest research behind them. See our Clinical Rationale & Evidence page.
